This 10-Frame clearer board is used to remove most of the bees from a super before extracting.  Prior to extracting, place the clearer board between the super and, say, the brood box.  Overnight most of the bees will have moved down to the box below leaving the super mostly empty of bees and easier to remove the frames from extracting.
