This 8-Frame clearer board is used to remove most of the bees from a super before extracting.  Prior to extracting, place the clearer board between the super and, say, the brood box.  Overnight most of the bees will have moved down to the box below leaving the super mostly empty of bees and easier to remove the frames from extracting.

The plastic entrance disk is used to close the entrance when transporting nucs.  The 4 quarters of the entrance disk are designed to:

- Allow all bees to enter or leave the hive

- Allow only worker bees to enter

- Allow both workers and drones to enter

- Close of the entrance of the hive to all bees.

The disk can be rotated to so that the correct quarter covers the nuc entrance.  The disk is made of durable plastic.
