Sticky Mat/Board for Varroa Mite Surveillance

Sticky mats/boards are placed under a vented base to catch falling debris such as mites, helping you mointor the health of your hive non-invasively in-between inspections and alcohol washes. Sticky mats can be used as one part of your mite mointoring, alongside alcohol washes and drone uncapping. 

Sticky mats can be placed at the as the same time as a mitcide and checked 24-48 hours later as an early indictor of if the mitcide is acting effectively, or if resistance has developed.

The mats are easiest to use in a vented base with a tray.
