Aluen Cap Varroa Treatment

Aluen Cap- Oxalic Acid slow realease- 60 strips (15 standard doses)

Aluen Cap is a slow release oxalic acid strip miticide for varroa treatment in affected bee colonies. 4 strips are placed in the brood box of a colony in an 8 or 10 frame hive, and 2 strips in a 5 or 6 frame nucleus hive. The strips are left for 42 days. Aluen Cap is an organic acid that can be used with honey supers on the hive. It is not limited by temperature. Aluen Cap should be used as one part of your Integrated Pest Management plan, and rotated with other chemicals with different active ingredients.

Aluen Cap is supplied under the APVMA Emergency Permit PER95790 for use in honeybee colonies to help control Varroa destructor mite in Australia. Please read before handling or using Aluen Cap.

Aluen Cap is available in packets of 60 strips, which provide 15 standard doses. Strips are not individually packaged by dose. The whole package should be used within 24 hours of opening, or disposed of.
