There are 2 main options:
1) A one day course held onsite covering both the theoretical and practical group hive inspection components
2) A combination of online and onsite - where the theory is delivered online over 2 sessions of 2.5 hours each, with an onsite group hive inspection to be held on a later date
Both of the above include a group hive inspection but if you would prefer you can upgrade to one of the following options:
1) 1:1 hive inspection in our apiary
2) An inspection of your own hive
Please note the date for the 1:1 and inspection of your hive will need to be booked by phone.
For an inspection of your own hive, there will also be a travel cost - this is based on the travel time between 54 Gills Rd, Watsons creek and your hive location rounded to the nearest 15 mins.
Please use Google maps to estimate the return travel time.
Each unit of travel is 15 mins ($10)
For example: if the travel time is 30 minutes each way, then total time is 1 hr and you would purchase a quantity of 4 units of travel = $40.

The course is held with a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached wihtin one week of the start of the course you will be invited to attend the next course.
In poor weather we may not be able to open and inspect a hive. If this occurs you will be given the oppertunity to postpone this activity to the back-up inspection date (given in brackets on the course calender).
If you are unable to attend the course date you have booked for courses can be rescheduled for a $20 re-booking fee, if we are informed more than 14 days before the booked course date. If rescheduling between 14 days and 1 day before a course a $100 re-booking fee applies. If you need to cancel your booking 90% of the course fee can be refunded if we are informed of cancellation more than 15 days before the course date. Refunds are not available on courses cancelled within 14 days of the course date.
